What is FastUse?

FastUse is a one-way communication app for people in restricted environments like in prison, quarantine, etc, to connect with their loved ones outside. It includes:

  • Caller Device – used only for Calling Receiver App
  • Receiver App – installed by the relative or friend

🔊 How does FastUse work?

  1. User scans a QR Voucher using the Caller Device.
  2. They enter the Receiver’s number.
  3. A voice or video call is made.
  4. The Receiver App rings and receives the call.

🟢 Caller Device

Who uses the Caller Device?
Community or people who inside the facility.
What is needed to call?
A valid QR Voucher and the Receiver’s number.
Can the user receive calls?
❌ No. Only outgoing calls are allowed.
Can one voucher be used multiple times?
Usage depends on voucher duration or quota policy.

🔵 Receiver App

Who uses it?
Relatives or friends outside the facility.
What does it do?
Receive voice/video calls. Nothing else.
Can I call back?
❌ No. Only receive.
Do I need to be online?
✅ Yes. Use Wi-Fi or mobile data.

🔒 Security & Privacy

Are calls secure?
✅ Yes. End-to-end encrypted.
Are calls recorded?
Depends on facility policy. FastUse doesn’t record by default.
